In 1972, John Cifone laid the foundation for Cifone Construction. What began as a one-man venture has blossomed into a thriving business spanning three generations, celebrating over five decades of excellence. John, a Glens Falls native, commenced his journey with modest projects, but his commitment to quality quickly propelled him to larger endeavors.

John's son, Matt, has been a devoted partner in this family legacy, learning the ropes from his father at an early age, hammer in hand. In 1998, with Matt's invaluable support, our company shifted its focus to custom design and build projects, with a primary emphasis on the stunning Lake Gorge area. The heart of our business lies in our ability to collaborate closely with clients, bringing their visions to life through custom design and impeccable craftsmanship. Our custom design and build approach offers clients the opportunity to sit down with us and co-create their visions. Matt plays a pivotal role in this aspect, utilizing his exceptional knack for envisioning and translating clients' dreams into reality. The most gratifying aspect of our company is shepherding projects from inception to completion. We owe our continued success to the remarkable clients who entrust us with their visions, keeping us constantly engaged in exciting new ventures.

Today, we proudly welcome Mackenzie, John's granddaughter, to our team. She takes charge of our office operations, infusing a fresh perspective and ensuring our continued efficiency.
